How are your paintings made?

Original commissions

Original commissioned paintings are created with your budget, color palette, layout & design in mind.

The painting process unfolds with emotion, experience, memory, foreign relations, rhythm translated with acrylic & oil mediums through a variety of techniques. These works of art are built layer upon layer, shaping itself with the end result unknown by Mr. Straume.

Should I frame my print &/or original painting?

It is personally recommended by Mr. Straume that all prints & originals should be taken to a professional framer, so exceptional advice & frame of reference is given on selecting the proper match that will compliment your home, its surroundings & the painting itself.
